Description
BPC-157
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic research peptide made up of 15 amino acids. Its sequence is derived from a partial sequence of a protein associated with gastric juice, which has contributed to significant research interest in BPC-157 across gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, cellular, and tissue-related research.
BPC-157 is one of the more widely discussed peptides in preclinical research, with much of the available scientific literature coming from laboratory, cell-culture, and animal models. Researchers have investigated the peptide across a broad range of biological systems to better understand how it may interact with processes involved in tissue response and cellular signalling.
A major area of BPC-157 research involves musculoskeletal tissues. Preclinical studies have examined BPC-157 in models involving tendons, ligaments, muscles, and other connective tissues. These studies investigate biological processes associated with tissue response, cellular migration, and the mechanisms involved following tissue damage.
BPC-157 has also received considerable attention in gastrointestinal research. Because its sequence is associated with a gastric protein, researchers have studied it in experimental models involving the stomach and intestinal tract, including gastric and intestinal mucosal tissue, gastrointestinal integrity, and other digestive-system processes.
Another important area of research involves angiogenesis and cellular signalling. Laboratory studies have explored BPC-157 in relation to VEGF signalling and processes associated with new blood-vessel formation. Researchers have also investigated its relationship with the nitric oxide system, which participates in blood-vessel signalling and numerous other biological processes.
Additional preclinical research has explored BPC-157 in areas involving inflammatory responses, nerve and neurological models, organ-related tissue response, and communication between the gastrointestinal and nervous systems. These areas remain subjects of ongoing investigation rather than established therapeutic applications.
Although BPC-157 has a substantial body of preclinical research, human clinical evidence remains limited. Findings from animal, cell, and in-vitro studies should not be interpreted as establishing safety, effectiveness, or therapeutic benefits in humans.
Quantum Labs Canada supplies BPC-157 as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder intended exclusively for controlled laboratory and research applications.
Each batch is independently tested for purity and consistency.
